If you missed the Best Race ever last night during the Olympics then check this out.. It was such a nail bitter.... Having swam my entire life from 4 years of age all the way through high school you could imagine how much of a Swimming Fan I am... I was on the edge of my seat.... take a look for yourself!
Jason Lezak, the oldest man on the U.S. swimming team, pulled off one of the great comebacks in Olympic history Monday, hitting the wall just ahead of France in the 400 freestyle relay, a race so fast it actually erased two world records.

That was a great race! I am really hoping that Michael Phelps can get 3 more golds- I feel like I am part of this amazing history or something if he can do it. Yeah, I know, sitting on my couch watching isn't exactly the same as all those amazing athletes actually doing it- but it is still inspiring and exciting!
deja vu! i just saw this replayed on tv. it was great...go USA!
see you when i get home :)
How exciting that you swam too! Yeah I was definitely screaming. At every turn I was like COME ON. And I don't know about you but sometimes I find myself (especially during butterfly) catching their rhythm and moving with them. My husband gladly stays in the other room.. It's a little spastic. haha!
oh yeah it was pretty much awesome!!
there is something incredibly satisfying about beating the French!
I know! Wasn't it absolutely incredible?
That race made my night!
