That's What You Get When You Leave Your Child Unattended!

As one of my students got dropped off today her Dad says,
"She may be a little off today, she got in trouble yesterday afternoon!"
I said, "Oh No, what happened?"
He said, "She decided she didn't like that my Cadillac Escalade was black and decided to go to the garage and paint it white."
(P.S. - she used regular wall paint and was alone long enough to paint both entire sides painted)
I felt like saying, "that's what you get when you leave your child unattended!"
Instead - I laughed!

It's Here It's Here - It's Finally Here!

The Sex and the City Movie is out today! I have been waiting for this day since the series finale! I figured to pay tribute by taking this quiz..

You Are Most Like Carrie!

You're quirky, flirty, and every guy's perfect first date.

But can the guy in question live up to your romantic ideal?

It's tough for you to find the right match - you're more than a little picky.

Never fear... You've got a great group of friends and a great closet of clothes, no matter what!

Romantic prediction: You'll fall for someone this year...

Totally different from any guy you've dated.

What's Your Opinion?

OK - So we all know that my brother recently got married and that I'm in my best friend Erika's wedding next month.Well, my friends and I were chatting at work yesterday about the appropriate amount that should be given when you attend a wedding.. One of my co-workers is going to a wedding Saturday night - this sparked a conversation! We had TOTALLY different ideas about the proper gift amount - they said I give WAY to much $$..
So my question is this - what do you feel is a proper or appropriate amount that should be given for a wedding gift? I know it varies for family members or how close of a relationship you have with the person getting married; but I just wanted other opinions on this topic!

Final TARTE Make-Up Review

This is the final make-up review I will be doing for TARTE Cosmetics!!I was recently surfing the web and I came across Tarte so I emailed them and a great lady from PR and got back to me... They sent me some products to review for my blog... So here I go:
This next product happened to

be my favorite of everything they have sent me.

Double dose berry boost & gloss in Pomegranate Punch! (It is the 1st one on the left.)

I LOVE this lipgloss - it really is my new favorite product! Get a double dose of beauty and treatment. The inner berry boost is a t5 super fruit complex™ concentrated pigment that mixes with the outer high shine gloss. The result is a rich color that helps rejuvenate your lips. It is the perfect mixture of lip color and gloss. If you're like me, and you like gloss with just a little bit of color then this is PERFECT for you. Your lips stay glossy and naturally colorful!

The last product I reviewed was the EmphasEYES high definition eye pencil: color black! EmphasEYES your look using this intense eye definer. These super-slim black pencils give the perfect amount of pop to tired, sunken eyes. The result? A more youthful, dramatic look that ensures your eyes will be the first thing people see. This eye pencil is great because it is a twist up, you don't need a sharpener. It glides right on and is super easy to take off.

I am SO SO SO happy I have found TARTE - I love their make-up and would look to buy from them. I recommend that if my Bloggy friends are looking to try something new - try TARTE!!

If you do, let me know what you think!

Meme Monday

I got this following Meme from Karen!

1. What was the last movie you saw? There Will Be Blood. Was it good? It was a great movie. What made it good? The acting and the story line. It isn't typically my kind of movie, but I really enjoyed it! What made it bad?I thought it was a little long, but it wasn't bad! What could have been better? I would have done somevthings different; story wise - but I can't say what cause it would ruin the movie! Why did you choose this particular movie? Brian really wanted to see it - I'm glad he did cause it was good! It came through Netflix. Would you recommend it to a friend? Yes!! To your mom? I don't think it's her kind of flick! To your significant other? He recommended it to me!

2. What three words do you think of when someone says ‘Saturday’? Sleep in late

3. Do you tan? Yes, I love to get a good tan, especially in the summer. If so, how many hours a week do you tan? No set particular # of hours. Whenever I can get to the beach, pool, or ocassionally the tanning salon. If you don’t tan, why not? Do you tan easily? Yes I tan pretty easily.. My 1st time in the sun I usually burn a little bit, then I tan great after the 1st initial time in the sun! Do you burn easily? Not really! Tell us about the worst burn you’ve ever had. I don't remember ever getting a really bad burn! GREAT, I probably jinxed myself. How many hours, in the summer, would you say you spend in the sun? It depends on my work week... And what I have going on during the weekends.. But I do spend about 2 hours a day in the sun at work when I take the kids outside. What sort of sunscreen do you use? Anything with a good waterproof SPF!!

4. If you had to wear a sign around your neck all day today, what would your sign say? Please don't make me go to work tomorrow!

I'm not tagging anyone in particular - if you've read this post and want to play go for it!!
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
Enjoy your day off of work :)

He Said She Said

My boyfriend tells me that I am very passive aggressive .
He said: I want to go ride the bike(which is his motorcycle) with the boys on Sunday and then go to Tiki Bar.
I Said: Sure Babe that sounds like fun.
Hope it's a nice weekend for a ride!
My Brain Said: I hope it rains!
I mean I really don't care that he hangs out with his friends - he never sees them. I just wanted to have fun with him on this beautiful weekend instead of staying home and doing his laundry.. Too bad all of my friends already had plans this weekend.. Grrr...

When It Rains It Pours

So I've been a little down lately and I really can't explain why! I have this lonely feeling - and it sucks!

I once told Brian that I felt that God doesn't want good things to happen for me. He got really upset by that statement - but sometimes I feel that way. I wonder when good things will happen to me? When will it be my turn?

I know that I've been stressed at work - I feel like I get little support in all aspects of my job - and I'm sure this is weighing heavily on my shoulders since I spend so much time at work. Grrr..... I know this is adding to my stress!

I've also been having horrible anxiety attacks.. I've been trying to relax and fell good about myself - but sometimes it's hard! Anxiety attacks really bring about the worst feelings. I ahte them and hope soon that they will go away forever! I am thankful however that I have my Blog and all of my Bloggy friends to share my thoughts with.Sometimes I just want to rant and rave without hearing someone talk back to me, ya know.... I really think I could use a nice, loooong, relaxing vacation on an Island somewhere where my cell phone doesn't ring. I'd love to go away to get away from it all; lay on the beach with Brian and drink Pina Coladas until I can't see straight or remember
why I was depressed.

Ya know what else drives me insane - I got my tax rebate check $600.00 YAY.. Too bad I'm going to have to spend at the dentist beacause I cracked my tooth and I don't have dental insurance.. See what I mean - when it rains it pours!

I don't mean to sound ungrateful for the life I have.. I love my family and friends - I've just been feeling a little down.

Super Powers

Your Superpower Should Be Mind Reading

You are brilliant, insightful, and intuitive.

You understand people better than they would like to be understood.

Highly sensitive, you are good at putting together seemingly irrelevant details.

You figure out what's going on before anyone knows that anything is going on!

Why you would be a good superhero: You don't care what people think, and you'd do whatever needed to be done

Your biggest problem as a superhero: Feeling even more isolated than you do now

I would so L.O.V.E. to have the power of mind reading - wouldn't it be the greatest? I'd also like to be invisible so i could hear what people were saying about me when they thought I wasn't around, LOL!

Why Rich Parents Need To Get A Clue and There Kids Need To Get Their Asses Kicked!

Somewhere, a father in Melbourne weeps. There were 16 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradales imported to Australia and New Zealand. There are now 15. A proud dad gave his son the keys to his so-rare-it's-almost-extinct Ferrari, and his son got a little too frisky with the audacious redhead. She didn't appreciate his advances, he lost control of the situation, and that little redhead introduced him to a pole... at a high rate of speed by the looks of it.

And as if that didn't beat all, the kid had to call home. While news crews watched. And filmed. Only to have newspapers and blogs spread the story around the world. No word on what his father said, but it probably rhymed with "Why I oughta @#%$*&%!"

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday EJ - hope it's a great one!
Love You!!!!

Wordless Wednesday

I know this is suppossed to be Wordless, but I wanted to give a quick backstory instead of just posting this picture(it's not meant to be offensive).. During "free time" in my Kindergarten Class one of my students asked to make a mask. So, I gave gave him brown paper - and while I was correcting papers and not paying attention this is what he created.
I just thank god I didn't give him white paper!

engagement rant!

If were with our boyfriend for awhile stop asking us when we are getting married. Don't you think we'll tell you when it happens. Quit asking - it annoys us!
Grr.... That's what I got all night at the wedding... Geez....
And if I was married they'd be asking "when are you having a baby." Guess you can never win, LOL!!!
If this keeps up I'm just going to tell people that we're married and they weren't invited to the wedding.. Maybe that'll get 'em!

Help

Do you think I can lose 10 pounds in 1 month? Anyone have any tricks, hints, or great diets?
HElP!!

The Big Day!!

So - the wedding was sooooo much fun.. I am happy to say that everything went pretty smooth and the weather was PERFECT, they couldn't have asked for a better day.
And yes, I'm happy to say that my dress worked out!
I was so happy it was short - it was easy to dance in!
It was a very fun and relaxing wedding -
I'm happy that my sister-in-law was not a Bridezilla! She was so easy going through this whole process - and we all know that Bridezillas are the worst - so I'm happy she wasn't!
The food was great - the music was fun - drinks all around!
My family had an awesome time, especially
the Bride and the Groom! They got married at the Baltimore Museum of Art and had the reception in the restaurant that is attached. They close down for the night and open it only to the wedding and their guests. The Museum had the most amazing grounds I've ever seen.. They had this huge gated park with sculptures where we took lots of pictures.
It was so great to be with my entire family this weekend. We really enjoyed being with each other for my brother's wedding!
I couldn't have asked for a better weekend
or
to be at a better weekend!
* LOOK BELOW*
Below I have posted some pictures from the rehersal dinner and from the wedding. I'll post more when I transfer the rest of my pictures over.
Enjoy!
