Grandpa Is Ok

I just heard that my grandfather is doing ok.. He made it through surgery and the doctors were able to put in 1 stent! I guess 1 is better then nothing.. He is resting comfortably and will hopefully be able to come home tomorrow or the next day!!

A big thanks to everyone for thier well wishes and prayers. It is greatly appreciate! You have no idea how much it means during a tough time like this!!! Thanks again!

Grandpa Update

Thanks to Rebecka from Mommy Moments for making this picture for me!! I will post the other ones she did later on today!!

My grandfather is still in the hospital! They are moving him today to another hospital where a Heart Surgeon is going to try and put stents in to open up his veins and arteries! Awhile ago the doctors said his veins were too small and closed for this procedure so I guess know we will just have to wait and see...

I tried to visit him the other day but had to wait for over 2 hours because he was having another sort of procedure. By the time it was over the waiting hours were over and I had to go home!! Visiting hours are only from 12 to 2 and wold you know I showed up and it was 11:58 and the nurse wouldn't let me in!! A little aggravating, especially since I had my 90 year old grandmother standing with me, lol....

I will keep you poosted with how everything goes today. My mom said it could be dangerous or a big let down if the Doc's can't get the stents in.. So we just have to wait and see!

And It Gets Better.....

I know I just asked you to pray for my friend's brother that passed away - but it seems like I could use a few more prayers myself....

My mother just called to inform me that my grandfather had a heart attack and it doesn't look to good.. He is in intensive care... My grandfather has always suffered with a bad heart - had multiple bypasses - and recently had a few stints in and out of the hospital; but it doesn't make it any easier... I fully understand that he is old and that he has lived such a great life.. Call me selfish but I want him here with me a little longer...
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.. I will keep you posted!

Grandfather Update

My grandfather is home and resting... Brian & I went to visit him Friday night.. Though he doesn't look great - he says he is feeling much better!

I had a talk with my grandmother and just hope I got through to her. She said she'd call me next time if something happens!

I cried the whole way home - thinking about what it would be like not to have him in my life...

Let's keep our fingers crossed that he feels ok for awhile!
