And This Is What I Said....

So I told you that I had to email this Sr. Executive Recruiter about a new job within my field... It's a position outside of the classroom but would still allow me to do something with my Master's Degree...
He asked:
Send me an email telling me the reason you are interested in the job description, working for this company, and what makes you a good match for the position.
I said:
(I have left out the company name and position, just because)
After reading the job description for the coordinator at ****, I am confident that my skills and my passion for education are a perfect match for this position. Having been a teacher, I can truly understand the importance of one on one differentiated instruction for reading and writing. I also agree with **** and feel that any effective solution to improve student performance must also motivate students to promote success within their educational careers.
I am hard working and pick up new programs and procedures very quickly. I am not easily overwhelmed and find it easy to feel calm and collected in a fast paced environment. If offered the position I will commit myself completely and focus as hard as needed to ensure that the results desired are produced.
In addition to my office experience, I have strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills. I am also extremely organized and I work very well with others. My broad background makes me an excellent candidate for this position. I believe that my instructional abilities, combined with my strong interpersonal skills and work ethic would greatly benefit their company.
I have a tremendous love for children and place a high standard on learning. I believe my positive attitude and my understanding of children's needs would make me a prime candidate for the **** position. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent leader who will make a positive contribution to ****.
What do you think?
