It's All About The Benjamins, Baby - Or Is it?

I started thinking about all the things I would do if I had money, mean enough money where I didn't have to ever worry, ever!( come on, we all know the reason I teach isn't for the big bucks they pay, lol. Teachers are way under paid, and under appreciated.

But hey, I'll save that for another Blog!)

So, this is what I would do if I had those Benjamins overflowing in the bank:

If I had money I would go grocery shopping and fill my cart with everything I wanted. I wouldn't go through my clipped coupons and Food Store circulars. I'd buy all the fresh fruit, veggies, water not on sale that my cart could hold.

If I had money I'd get my hair done every 4 weeks instead of every 12!
If I had money I would go to Hawaii .... And then hit California on my way back to NJ.
If I had money I would buy my Mom a new house! I would buy a house!
If I had money I would expand on my Bare Minerals colletion.
If I had money I know that I would still work. I would find a job that I was really, truly happy with.
Having money doesn't always mean you're happy, I understand that! ..
Money can't always buy everything:
It can buy a House But not a Home
It can buy a Bed But not Sleep
It can buy a Clock But not Time
It can buy you a Book But not knowledge
It can buy you a Position But not Respect
It can buy you Medicine But not Health
It can buy you Blood But not Life
It can buy you Sex
But not Love

So you see money isn't everything.
I'm extremly happy to have someone who loves me, great friendships, and a wonderful family.. And that's what is important! Even though ti would be nice to have that extra $$.. Hopefully all of my hard work will pay off!!
What would you do if you had extra money to burn?

I am with you on the hair and the groceries. I would also pamper myself and those I love more.

I would give some away and travel, I would hit Ireland first for sure, then Europe.

But I would miss my dogs, so I guess not every thing is perfect!

Oh yeah....can you imagine me, the happy baker, set loose, without money worries, in the grocery??? I would probably earn myself a "customer of the year" award or something :)
My hair......now that would be fun!
I would travel far and wide!! Right now I love thru my far away blogging buddies!
Have a great weekend!

My husband talks about winning the lottery ALL THE TIME. I would probably buy a beach house at the shore, put away money for the kids, and hire a nanny! HA!

I am kidding about that last one.

Man there are so many things I would love to do if I had endless funds. I would send my parents on a trip to Europe, buy myself a house, have an amazing wedding and basically travel the world, haha.

If I had all that money I would buy my friend Donna a new set of kidneys.

After I knew she was well, I would just go nuts buying up every store in town. The bad part about buying everything, I would not want to dust it so I would give it all away and be where I am right now. HE HE HE HE

Thanks for the prayers and God Bless you and your family. :-)

OK well 20 people from my work played the last mega millions but we didn't win for some reason...

For me: money = moving
and
moving = baby and dog

That's just what I am saving for. If I had won the lottery, I would get a much nicer house than I probably will end up with and a CLEANING LADY every week. I most likely would still shop the sale racks and get my hair done like every hundred years because that's what I'm used to. I would definitely pay to have my parents new house built in North Carolina but I would only let them go for vacations...not for good. I would also get them a new place here if they wanted and also get a place for baby bro (he's actually 24 but I will call him baby bro forever). Then I would set up college funds for all of my cousins and niece & nephew. Then I would get Ian a corvette and me a range rover. If a rediculous amount is left over I will get a house for my inlaws, brother in law and best friends :)

If I had a ton of money I would stay home with Eliza. I would buy Pete a lifetime membership to the golf club of his choice. And I would adopt one or more children.
I would still shop at Target! I might get my eyebrows, nails, and hair dpone more often. But probably not!

I definitely agree with you on the grocery store and hair. It'd be nice to do that.

I would spend a lot of time traveling, but I agree with Tipp. I would miss my loved ones.

I really liked the part where you said: "It can buy a house but not a home..." So true!
