Tasty Tuesdays

Six Bean Chili


Ingredients

1 1/2 Pounds Ground Chicken,
Turkey, or Ground Beef
1 Large Yellow Onion (Chopped)
1 Large Size Green Pepper( cored, seeded, & diced)
1 (15-ounce) can light red kidney beans, drained
1 (15-ounce) can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 (15-ounce) can cannellini beans, drained
1 (15-ounce) can butter beans, drained
1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained
1 (28-ounce) can of Diced Tomatoes
1 (15- ounce) can of Tomato Sauce
6 TBSP Chili Powder
Salt, Cayenne, and Black Pepper to Taste


Preparation

In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown meat. Be sure to break up clumps as much as possible.
Put the browned meat
in a slow cooker.
Add remaining ingredients and stir together.
Cover and cook on high setting for 4 hours
or on low for 7 to 8 hours.

Ladle into bowls and serve with your favorite chili fixings (Salsa, Cheddar Cheese, Chopped Red Onion, Sour Cream, Tortilla Chips, Cilantro, or whatever or may like.)

I'm not a vegitarian but I think I am going to make this without the ground beef, turkey... I love beanie chili and it kills me that all canned chili is advertised as "With Meat" "NO BEANS" No wonder canned chili is the nastiest crap ever!

Wow...there is a whole lotta beans in there! haha. :) It sounds good though...and I am a HUGE crockpot fan...so this is a good one for me!
