Babywearing Pluses

As most of you know my cousin recently had her 1st baby. For her baby shower I bought her a really cool pouch so she would be able to become a baby wearer. She didn’t seem so into it, mostly because I don’t think she knew much about it. After the baby was born I noticed or heard that she was having a difficult time getting adjusted with her new little angel. So I bought her a Sleepy Wrap in hopes to make her and the baby’s transition a little more comfortable. I know I don’t have a baby… Yet!!!! But I’ve certainly seen 1st hand all of the benefits from Moms who wear their babies.

It is seen that:
Sling babies cry less. They seem to love to be close to their mother or father and feel more secure, especially right after birth because they fell more wrapped up and close, like they did when they were in the womb.
Sling babies learn more. If infants spend less time crying and fussing, what do they do with the free time? They learn! Sling babies spend more time in the state of quiet alertness. This is the behavioral state in which an infant is most content and best able to interact with his environment. It may be called the optimal state of learning for a baby. Researchers have also reported that carried babies show enhanced visual and auditory alertness.
Since baby wearing has become so popular they really have designed and created some awesome hotslings.

I know that I am super excited to one day soon have a baby and become a baby wearing Mama!!! I think it's a wonderful thing not only the Mom, but Dad can enjoy too.... I think as a whole it can bring the enitre family closer!! And I love it! Check out baby slings to get your own fashionable Sling today!!!!

I got a super versital and cute baby pouch when Lorelei was born. I used a baby bjorn until she got to heavy then I got this other pouch that was supposed to work until she was very heavy. But it really hurt my back so I rarely used it. The next time we have a baby I will make sure to always use a sling so I become used to it.
