Funk

I'm in a funk! I think I’m going through something! I just feel sad! I’m tired, I’m achy, I’m emotional, and I feel insecure about every little thing! How can I get out of this funk if I'm not sure of the cause?
Any suggestions?

Hey Dana, Sorry you're in a funk. Here are a couple of things that I do when I get that way: go for a brisk walk or do crunches or something physical. Eat/drink something with real citrus (fresh squeezed lemonade or orange juice). And of course, my favorite, chocolate!

BTW, I love your new look! It really suits you. Hope you're out of that funk soon!

I'm sorry to hear you are sad and in a funk. I get like that too. Maybe try doing something you enjoy- watch some Sex and the City or go out to eat or something fun- whatever it is that you like to do.

Hope you are feeling less sad soon.

Ugh I hate that feeling. Whenever I get like that I watch a funny movie or TV like Friends of SATC, or read a magazine, even better if you can do this outside. I usually just need time to myself to relax and take my mind off of whatever is bothering me. I hope you're out of your funk soon!

I remind myself that there is only so much I can do and that I am doing the best I can. The rest is out of my control.

You've had a change in your regular routine. It is common. Hang in there and keep active!

I am sorry you have been feeling a little blue. It is hard to snap out of a funk - especially if you're not sure about the cause.

The one thing that always works for me in SHOPPING. It is like therapy. SERIOUSLY! Go buy something pretty.

what works for me is going shopping, watching my favorite show reruns, or doing myself a makeover (i know, how elementary-school-ish of me)

For me, whenever I'm feeling down, baking helps me out. That and making a good meaty pasta sauce.

I hope everything straightens itself out! I know it's tough being in a funk and not knowing the cause. *hugs* I'm here if you need to talk!

I have been there. I wish I knew some big brilliant answer, but I don't. Getting out in the sun helps though.

I always read The Secret when I'm in a funk. It helps.
