Bye Bye Condo

So I think it's safe to say that Brian and I are NOT getting the condo. That's right ladies and gentleman, you heard me right! Some things went down over the weekend and my dreram of being a 1st time homeowner has no pretty much come to an end!!
We are now on the move to rent another, bigger place that is closer to both of our jobs for another year or so and then revisit the idea of buying something!!
I cried yesterday for about an hour straight before drowning myself in Cosmos.. Which by the way made me feel SOOOOO much better. I know whats meant to be is meant to be and something better will come our way, I get it, i really do - I just wanted it. I figured getting this place would help us move right along the right path to happily ever after ya know?
But Brian said it best he said, "It's not where you come home to ever day after work it's who you come home to!" That instantly made me feel so much better. Cause I know I'd rather live in a cardboard box with him then live anywhere else without him!!

What a wonderful way for your hubby to put it. I'm sorry the condo fell through though. I know you were super excited. I'm thinking of you. You'll find the perfect place soon. I just know you will. XOXO

Sorry to hear that! Don't give up! And I'm glad the cosmos helped, because things take a turn for the worse when the cosmos don't end up working!

Keep your fingers crossed - everything is happening for a reason though! Keep your head up and channel all the excitement you had about buying a new condo to decorating your new rental!

things could def be worse, but i know dissapointment is a really shitty feeling.

Love your blog - and you are gorgeous by the way!

I'm sorry that it didn't work out, Dana. I would have totally cried, too. You're so lucky to have Brian, though. He hit the nail on the head and was so sweet about it.

I'm sorry that plans fell through. It is so disappointing when plans don't work out.Isn't it amazing how a great guy and a few cosmos can fix almost anything?

awww, I'm so sorry. Brian is right, though. It's who you come home to. You will be a homeowner before you know it.

Aw Dana! I'm bummed for you. BUT...that just means that the condo wasn't meant to be...and something better is out there waiting for you and Brian to get your hands on.

"Cause I know I'd rather live in a cardboard box with him then live anywhere else without him!!"

I loveddd how you stated that. Smooooch.

Aww. That's the right attitude honey! A year from now will be an even better time to buy anyways. House prices still have more falling to do before things bottom out. You'll be getting in at just the right moment, as opposed to ME who got in last summer and has now lost about $15,000 of equity. It's a hidden blessing!

So sorry friend. The housing market is all crazy right now anyways. I am disillusioned with the whole "owning real estate" thing. I wish we were renting.
